Catstock 2019
One Day of Peace, Love and Whiskers!
On Saturday, August 24 the Schoharie County Historical Society and the Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley will turn the dog days of summer into a celebration of all things cats during Catstock, one day full of peace, love and whiskers from 10 a.m. to dusk at the Old Stone Fort Museum.
Held on the heels of the 50th Anniversary of the 1969 Woodstock Music and Art Fair, Catstock will also feature live performances by area bands, in addition to vendors selling a variety of cat and pet themed items, children’s games and activities and MUCH MORE.
Just a few of the delicious food options include chili and cornbread served up by the SUNY Cobleskill Institute for Rural Vitality and Culinary Arts Program, barbecue and festival favorites by Cargie’s Food Truck and regional favorite Gaige’s French Fries!
A highlight of Catstock activities will be the opportunity to see adoptable cats and kittens while learning more about adoption and foster opportunities through the animal shelter. Donations of needed supplies and items from the animal shelter’s wish list will also be accepted and appreciated.
The musical lineup for Catstock 2019 will include performances by;
- Glowing Bug & Friends from 11 a.m to 12 noon
