This special program reflects on the importance of uncovering and preserving Black family histories. Through historical records, family research, stories, and local archives, Adams and Hults shed light on the lives, families, contributions, and legacies of Black residents whose stories are an essential part of Schoharie County’s shared history. Their work highlights the value of inclusive historical research and the ongoing effort to ensure that every voice is remembered in equal measure.
