Weekdays 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Weekends 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
During the season, we will be CLOSED – Monday, September 28; Tuesday, September 29; and Friday, October 2
General Admission Rates
Adults $10
Children (17 and under), Military, SCHS Members, and NARM Members are FREE
Tickets may be purchased in person at the Admissions Desk
Important Information
Accessibility
Due to the historic nature of the site, the majority of our buildings are not accessible to wheelchair users. The first floor of the Fort is wheelchair accessible; however, our other buildings and upper floor of the Fort are not. Because of these limitations, visitors with mobility challenges that make it difficult to comfortably explore the full complex will receive complimentary admission for themselves and one support person. Service Animals
Service animals are always welcome to accompany you in the museum and across the site. However, pets and emotional support animals are not allowed in any of our buildings under any circumstance.
Photography
Visitors are welcome to take photographs and videos for personal use. To help preserve our collections, please do not use flash. Commercial photography is not permitted without prior approval. For permission requests, please contact our director via email in advance.
The Library
Appointments are necessary for use of the library, to schedule an appointment please call (518) 295-7192 during office hours, Monday – Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at least two weeks before your visit to ensure someone will be available to assist you.
You must have a scheduled appointment set-up prior to your visit.
