2022 Fall Membership Meeting
The Schoharie County Historical Society 2022 Fall Membership Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 23 at the Mill Pond Inn Carriage House, located at 102 Main Street in Jefferson, NY.
The business meeting will begin at 2 p.m. and will include the election of new members to the Schoharie County Historical Society Board of Trustees, a building project progress update, and reports on the programs and activities taking place throughout the Old Stone Fort Museum Complex.
Following the formal business meeting, attendees will learn more about the Mill Pond Inn, its history, and the transformation the popular Jefferson eatery, inn, and tavern has undergone in recent years from owner and proprietor David Savateri.
Those in attendance will also get the opportunity to learn more about the ever-active Jefferson Historical Society and its many programs, initiatives, and projects from director Kevin Berner.
Light refreshments will be served during the business meeting and, at 3:30 p.m., the Mill Pond Tavern will open half an hour early to serve up their creative drink and menu items to annual meeting attendees.
The Schoharie County Historical Society is in its 133rd year at the Old Stone Fort Museum Complex, publishing the semi-annual Historical Review of county history, and organizing lectures and historical events such as Stone Fort Day, Decoration Day, and much more.
