Palatine Committee

The Palatine Committee focuses on preserving and sharing the history of Palatine immigration to the Schoharie region. Committee members assist with research, historical interpretation, and the development of educational materials, programs, and exhibits, with a special focus on the building known as Hartmann’s Dorf House. This committee is ideal for volunteers with an interest in history, genealogy, cultural preservation, or museum interpretation, and who want to help bring the Palatine story to life for the public.
