Buildings & Grounds volunteers help care for and maintain our historic site, including its buildings, gardens, and outdoor spaces. Responsibilities include general upkeep such as cleaning, organizing, and maintaining both indoor and outdoor areas to ensure the site remains safe, welcoming, and well-presented for visitors. Tasks may involve sweeping, dusting, and basic facility cleaning, as well as outdoor work like gardening, landscaping, light repairs, and seasonal maintenance.
Volunteers may also assist with event setup and breakdown, moving materials, and supporting special projects as needed. This role involves physical activity and is ideal for those who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining shared spaces.
