DESCRIPTION:Join Cathy Adams and Pat Hults for “To Be Remembered in Equal Measure\,” a powerful and illuminating presentation exploring the rich and often overlooked history of Black genealogy in Schoharie County. \nThis special program reflects on the importance of uncovering and preserving Black family histories. Through historical records\, family research\, stories\, and local archives\, Adams and Hults shed light on the lives\, families\, contributions\, and legacies of Black residents whose stories are an essential part of Schoharie County’s shared history. Their work highlights the value of inclusive historical research and the ongoing effort to ensure that every voice is remembered in equal measure. \nJoin them on Friday\, June 19 at 6:00 PM in the Badgley Annex (148 Fort Road\, Schoharie\, NY) for this meaningful evening of remembrance\, reflection\, and discovery. The event is open to the public\, with a suggested donation of $5 per person to support future programming.
