Please join us for “We Were There…”, a free public program commemorating the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001 and honoring the Schoharie County first responders who served in the aftermath of 9/11.
The program will take place on Saturday, September 12, at 3:00 PM at the Cobleskill Fire Department, 610 E Main St, Cobleskill, NY 12043.
Through video segments, photographs, maps, and a moderated panel discussion, the program will share the experiences of local representatives from Schoharie County who responded to the attacks and served at Ground Zero in the days and weeks that followed.
“We Were There…” offers an opportunity to remember the events of September 11, recognize the service and sacrifice of those who answered the call, and hear firsthand accounts from members of our own community who were there.
This program is free and open to the public. We hope you will join us as we remember, reflect, and honor those who served in the aftermath of 9/11.
