For those interested in learning more about an ancestor or the Schoharie County region, our library and archives house thousands of essential rare books, original documents, maps, deeds, photographs, and genealogical research collections.
The Library is currently in a temporary space due to building repairs, so it is not currently open during regular hours. If you are traveling from any great distance, please call in advance and make an appointment so that we can try to accommodate your schedule and try to find materials ahead of time. Scroll to the bottom of the page to fill out a research request form and pay online.
