Pay What You Wish Week

In honor of the 250th commemoration, we’re celebrating the idea that history belongs to everyone. Join us from Sunday, June 28 through Saturday, July 4 for Pay What You Wish Week, when admission to the museum and all on-site events are by donation only, pay as much or as little as you’re able. We’ll be open every day throughout the week, welcoming our community to come together and reflect on the past. No set price, no barriers – just come curious and give what you can.

Sunday, June 28th – Hometown History Day

• Museum Open – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Fort Building Competition – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Guided Tours – 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM
• Local History Trivia – 5:30 PM

Monday, June 29th – Stars, Stripes & Civics

• Museum & Site Open – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Activity Stations – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Militia Training – 11:00 AM & 2:00 PM

Tuesday, June 30th

• Museum Open – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Schoharie Eagles Presentation by Bill Combs – 10:30AM
• Patriotic Painting Social – 5:30PM (Pre-registration required)

Wednesday, July 1st – Truck Touch

• Museum & Site Open – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Truck Touch – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Thursday, July 2nd – Spies of the Revolution

• Museum & Site Open – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Spy Programs – 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM & 2:00 PM

Friday, July 3rd

• Remember the Ladies Tea Party at Lasell Hall – 2:00 PM (Pre-registration required)

Saturday, July 4th – Declaring Independence at the Fort

• Flag Raising – 10:00 AM
• Militia Training – 10:00 AM & 12:30 PM
• Readings of the Declaration – 11:00 AM & 2:30 PM
